Según un artículo que publica el diario el Mundo Podemos conscientes de la importancia de las Fallas para conectar con el electorado de la ciudad, se han puesto manos a la obra para construir de urgencia una posición oficial sobre las principales fiestas de la capital valenciana. El primer paso será convocar un foro ciudadano que establezca las líneas maestras de la formación de Pablo Iglesias con respecto al mundo fallero: «Las Fallas representan un espacio de participación de una magnitud enorme que no se puede desdeñar. Pero el posicionamiento de Podemos con respecto a las Fallas lo debemos discutir entre todos. Por eso, vamos a convocar un foro que nos permita establecer la postura del partido», explicó a EL MUNDO el secretario general de Podemos en Valencia, Jaime Paulino.
La idea esbozada por Paulino pasa por generar un espacio específico abierto a la ciudadanía que sirva para articular el modelo de fiesta que defenderá Podemos en el programa electoral que trasladará a través de Guanyem. «Debemos hacer una reflexión compartida, un foro, acerca de la cultura popular de la ciudad. Hay cosas positivas en la fiesta y otras no tanto y hay que valorarlas en su conjunto. En cualquier caso, será la gente la que decida cuál será nuestra postura», insistió el líder de Podemos.
El plan no pasa por convocar a los principales actores de la fiesta oficialmente sino abrir un foro de debate en el que pueda participar cualquiera. De hecho, Paulino señaló que aunque no ha habido contacto directo con estos actores muchos de los componentes del partido están estrechamente vinculados con la fiesta: «Dentro del Consejo Ciudadano está María Oliver, que es consejera del Derecho a la Ciudadanía y trabaja en un taller fallero».
El secretario general de Podemos rechazó de plano las «burradas» que han circulado por las redes sociales e internet donde se asegura que su partido está en contra de las Fallas. «Es un elemento que vertebra la cultura de la ciudad y hay que respetarla. Aunque nuestra postura no parte de cero no podemos mantener ninguna línea concreta hasta que no esté construida completamente», insistió el líder de Podemos en la ciudad de Valencia.no se presentará de manera directa a las próximas elecciones municipales pero sí a través de la plataforma Guanyem.
