En lo que ya supone una cita obligada para todos, festeros y eldenses en general, el martes 1 de septiembre, a las 21:00 h, en el salón de actos del Centro Cívico, Junta Central de Fallas convoca a la Presentación del Cartel de las Fiestas de 2015 y del número 55 de la Revista Oficial Fallas de Elda. El cartel así como la portada de la revista, este año reflejan la obra del veterano dibujante y diseñador eldense José Ortín Cerdán, dando con ello continuidad a la serie iniciada en 2006 bajo el título de Portada de autor y que ha llevado a contar con excelentes obras creadas a lo largo de la década por prestigiosos artistas. El acto en general será conducido por Fernando Álvares Ferrándiz, componente de la Falla Zona Centro, el cual dará paso a cada una de las secciones previstas en el evento. La presentación de la revista correrá a cargo de la directora de la Residencia y Centro de Día Para Personas Mayores El Catí, Encarnación Guerrero Alcalde reconociéndose con ello la participación y el compromiso social que las fallas tienen en Elda. Tras la presentación de la publicación y la entrega de los primeros ejemplares a autoridades y cargos de las comisiones, las Falleras Mayores de Elda de 2014 harán entrega al Museo del Calzado de los zapatos correspondiente a la indumentaria oficial que lucieron durante el año de su cargo. Como cierre de la primera parte de la velada, la presidenta de Junta Central, Chelo Moya, cumplirá con uno de los momentos más esperados, cuando desvele el nombre de la persona que pregonará la fiesta del presente año, identidad sumida en una incógnita total hasta ese instante. Seguidamente y con el traslado de los cargos falleros, autoridades e invitados al vecino edificio del Museo del Calzado, se dará por inaugurada la XXII edición de la Exposición del Ninot, que permanecerá abierta en el vestíbulo de la institución hasta el 15 de septiembre a las 19:30 h, periodo durante el cual el público que la visite podrá votar para indultar un ninot mayor y otro infantil.
