El Péndulo | Redacción.- La Sala de Exposiciones del Ayuntamiento acoge la exposición ‘Falles de Cartó’, coordinada por el bibliófilo Rafael Solaz, en la que se muestra la fiesta de Las Fallas desde un punto de vista patrimonial y museístico, y que coincide con el 75 Aniversario de la Junta Central Fallera.
La concejala de Cultura, María Irene Beneyto, inaugurará esta muestra mañana jueves a las 19.00 horas, y podrá ser visitada hasta el próximo 22 de marzo de 2015.
La exposición, cuyo objetivo consiste en difundir la perspectiva cultural de la candidatura de Las Fallas como Patrimonio Inmaterial de la Humanidad, consta de un conjunto de obras, algunas únicas, que permiten ver el importante desarrollo de Las Fallas y su valor patrimonial. Para ello, el visitante podrá analizar diversos libros y manuscritos relacionados con la fiesta, y una variedad de objetos ligados a la fiesta como peinetas, bandas de fallera, joyas e incluso muñecas.
Destacan las más de cien fotografías expuestas que abarcan desde finales del siglo XIX hasta la década de los 60 del siglo XX, con temáticas de monumentos tanto oficiales como los alternativos de patios de escalera, escolares o en interiores de casa. También de indumentaria de valencianos, grupas o fotos de colectivos. Asimismo hay reproducciones publicitarias relacionadas con Las Fallas, e incluso reproducciones de sellos. Fotos de los saberes asociados a la fiesta como talleres artísticos, de puestos de buñuelos de principio de siglo, de costura de trajes regionales, de pirotecnia o de los eventos más importantes del calendario fallero, completan la parte gráfica de la muestra. Todo el material que forma parte de la exposición, alguno de ellos inéditos, es fruto de la larga y paciente coleccionista e histórica que Rafael Solaz ha ido implementado en su patrimonio personal como especialista y reputado cronista valenciano.
Rafael Solaz es un conocido bibliófilo de la ciudad. Desde la edad de once años fue adquiriendo y coleccionando libros, documentos, fotografías y objetos de temática valenciana. Su biblioteca está compuesta por casi once mil volúmenes. Al margen de los libros, también posee un extenso archivo documental de tema valenciano, y una colección de más de cinco mil fotografías antiguas relativas a la Comunidad Valenciana. Es autor de diversos libros, algunos de los cuales publicados por el Ayuntamiento de Valencia.
