Un total de 44 escuadras y 20 bandas de música desfilarán el próximo 9 d’Otubre en la Entrada Mora i Cristiana de la Ciutat de València, una cita que este año alcanza su décimo aniversario plenamente consolidada. Así lo ha dado a conocer esta mañana el Concejal Delegado de Fiestas y Cultura Popular, Francisco Lledó, acompañado por el Presidente de la Federación Valenciana de Moros i Cristians (FEVAMIC), Vicente Roig.
En conjunto, la Entrada Mora i Cristiana reunirá a cerca de 1.400 personas, entre los integrantes de las escuadras, las bandas y otros participantes como los 60 grupos a caballo, cuatro boatos y seis grupos de percusión, a falta de cerrar la lista definitiva. Se trata del acto central de una serie de convocatorias que, en el contexto de este X aniversario, se presentan como un programa unitario y variado, que comienza mañana miércoles.
De hecho, la cita de mañana supone una novedad respecto a las citas de años anteriores, puesto que consistirá en un Pregón Anunciador de la fiesta, que correrá a cargo de uno de los miembros del bando cristiano, Juanjo García. El pregón, que presentará el festejo e invitará a la participación de todos, tendrá lugar en el Ateneo Mercantil y dará comienzo a las 20:30 horas. En ese mismo lugar, se inaugurará una exposición retrospectiva abierta al público, bajo el título genérico “10 anys de festa”, que podrá visitarse los días 2, 3 y 4 de octubre.
Francisco Lledó ha recordado los vericuetos de esta década en la que se ha producido la consolidación y la ampliación de la Entrada Mora i Cristiana, que comenzó con incertidumbres en el año 2003, y que llega hasta hoy con gran fortaleza y expectativas de futuro. El Edil ha destacado tanto el trabajo de la Federación Valenciana de Moros i Cristians (FEVAMIC) “por su capacidad de trabajo y su alto grado de compromiso con esta fiesta que –ha afirmado- ha tomado forma en el Cap i Casal desde el mayor de los respetos”. Asimismo, Lledó ha destacado el esfuerzo y dedicación de los capitanes Moro y Cristiano, Miguel Vicent Peris y Ángel Serrano Nohales, respectivamente, “cuya labor es esencial para que los festejos salgan adelante”. La Fallera Mayor de Valencia 2012, Sandra Muñoz, ejercerá de Madrina de la celebración.
“Llega el día grande de nuestra Comunidad –ha expresado el Concejal de Fiestas y Cultura Popular- y tanto durante el día 9 como durante las jornadas previas, invitamos a valencianos y visitantes a conocer de cerca la grandeza de esta fiesta, su magnitud y su consolidación en nuestra ciudad”.
EL DÍA 5, LAS EMBAJADAS A LOS PIES DE LAS TORRES DE SERRANOS
Uno de los ejes centrales del programa global de la fiesta serán las Embaixades de la Conquesta, que se celebrarán el próximo sábado, día 5, en su escenario habitual, a los pies de las Torres de Serranos. Se trata, como es conocido, de una representación de la rendición de la ciudad al rey Jaime I, y contará con la interpretación de numerosos actores y bailarines, que recrearán este episodio de nuestra historia con sus principales personajes: el Rei Jaume, la Reina Na Violant, o Fray Pere de Lleida, entre otros. El guión del espectáculo está firmado por Donís Martín Albiuza, que ejerce también como director.
Otro de los actos que cada año concita mayor participación se ha convocado para la jornada siguiente, domingo, y reunirá alrededor de 50 personas: los Alardos, es decir, la expresión del sentir festivo y triunfal mediante el disparo de pólvora desde numerosos arcabuces por las calles del centro histórico (plaza de Manises, calles Bailia y Navellos, plaza de San Lorenzo, Muro de Santa Ana y plaça dels Furs).
Y el día 9, a las 17:00 horas, dará comienzo la X Entrada Mora i Cristiana, el acto central de la programación, que será “espectacular”, en palabras de sus organizadores.
El Concejal Francisco Lledó ha recordado que los actos del 9 d’Octubre comenzarán este viernes, con la entrega de Honores y Distinciones de la Ciudad. Continuarán el día 7 con el tradicional concierto de la Banda de Música de Valencia, y seguirán el día 8 con la convocatoria popular “Junt a la Senyera” en el Ayuntamiento. El día 9 se celebrará la Baixada de la Reial Senyera, Procesión Cívica y Ofrenda de flores al Rei Jaume I, para concluir por la tarde con una mascletà, una dançà popular y la X Entrada de Moros i Cristians.
