Valencia, El artista fallero Xavier Herrero ha creado y restaurado gran parte de las figuras del Belén más grande de España que fue inaugurado ayer en la localidad valenciana de Xàtiva.
Herrero, natural del municipio setabense, ha diseñado la mayor parte de las figuras que aparecen en esta muestra, que se ha convertido en un reclamo turístico cada año gracias a sus 1600 metros cuadrados.
De hecho, el ceramista que aparece es un retrato del padre de Xavier Herrero, uno de los artistas más prestigiosos en el mundo fallero y que acumula muchos reconocimientos por sus trabajos en las Fallas de Valencia, en las Hogueras de Alicante y como creador de espacios para eventos y publicidad.
El resto de figuras también han pasado por el taller del artista para ser restauradas para su posterior exhibición en este Belén que reúne cada Navidad a miles de visitantes venidos de toda la geografía española.
El Belén Monumental de Xàtiva, que el año pasado fue visitado por 130.000 personas, se podrá visitar hasta el próximo 6 de enero de forma gratuita.
