Un año más, una semana después de San José las localidades de la provincia de Valencia celebran su semana fallera. Entre estas localdiades destaca la festividad de Montserrat donde acudieron Estefanía López, Fallera Mayor de Valencia, y las 12 componentes de su Corte de Honor. Fue en la noche del pasado sábado 28 de marzo cuando nuestras máximas representantes vivieron una intensa visita. Fueron recibidas por los máximos representantes falleros de la localidad, sus Falleras Mayores, Raquel Torquemada y la niña Daniela Ferrer, junto a sus presidentes Óscar Espert y el nio Alberto Dalmau. Juntos recorrieron las calles céntricas hasta llegar al consistorio donde les recibió el alcalde, José María Mas, allí Estefanía firmó el libro de honor dejando una dedicatoria como recuerdo de esta ocasión.
Tras los copromisos protocolarios acudieron alos pies de sus monumentos , emblemas de nuestra fiesta, de los cuales disfrutaron. «Regnar per un any» era el lema del monumento infantil mientras que el mayor ha alegrado el día a día de la localdiad con su «En cada port… un amor», grandes obras que han estado en manos de Xavi Ureña el infantil y de Pedro Santaeulalia el mayor.
Para finalizar esta cita disfrutaron del fin de fiesta con baile en las calles de Montserrat, este supuso el cieere a una ocasión que siempre se guarda con gran cariño por los falleros de la localidad.
