Este acto inicia la campaña Un Post-it por el Alzheimer 2015, con motivo del Día Mundial del Alzheimer. El calendario se presenta hoy jueves, 17 de septiembre, en el Palacio de la Exposición de Valencia.
La Asociación de Familiares de Enfermos de Alzheimer de Valencia (AFAV) inicia la campaña Un Post-it por el Alzheimer 2015, con motivo de la celebración del Día Mundial del Alzheimer, con la presentación del Calendario Benéfico 2016, en el que han participado 163 personas, muchas de ellas, rostros conocidos valencianos de diferentes ámbitos.
El Calendario Benéfico por el Alzheimer 2016, que se presentará hoy jueves, 17 de septiembre, en el Palacio de la Exposición de Valencia, a las 19:30 horas, es el primer acto del 25 Aniversario de AFAV, que tendrá lugar en 2016, y además coincide con la campaña Un Post-it por el Alzheimer.
Con este calendario, AFAV pretende rendir homenaje a las personas, entidades y organismos que durante sus 25 años de andadura han colaborado con la ONG de manera desinteresada. “Ha sido mucha la solidaridad recibida por AFAV en estos 25 años y por ello, no han podido estar todos en el calendario, pero se ha intentado que haya una alta representatividad de todas las personas e instituciones que siempre nos han apoyado”, explica Sonia Sánchez, trabajadora social de AFAV y coordinadora del proyecto.
El calendario recoge cada mes uno de los colectivos que siempre han apoyado a AFAV, mediante fotografías realizada por el fotógrafo Guillermo Domeque. Las fotografías han sido tomadas en lugares emblemáticos de la ciudad de Valencia como La Albufera, Las Torres de Serrano, el Ayuntamiento, la playa de la Malvarrosa, la Facultad de Medicina, el Ateneo Mercantil, el Teatro Olimpya o la Ciudad de las Ciencias.
Los doce colectivos que incluye el calendario son los enfermos de Alzheimer del Centro de Día de AFAV, la Junta Directiva de AFAV, el equipo técnico de la Asociación, las Falleras Mayores de Valencia, jugadores de varias temporadas del Valencia C.F., jugadores del Levante U.D., periodistas, familiares y cuidadores de Alzheimer, actores y actrices, facultativos especializados, amigos de AFAV y voluntarios de la Asociación.
Entre otros rostros relevantes de nuestra ciudad y solidarios con AFAV, encontraremos en el calendario a Santiago Grisolía, profesor distinguido emérito «Sam Roberts» de Bioquímica y Biología Molecular; Francisco Pérez Puche, periodista; los equipos de fútbol del Valencia y Levante; las falleras mayores 2015, Estefanía López y María Donderis, junto con falleras mayores de anteriores generaciones; el actor Jaime Puchol; y dos representantes del Basket valenciano y americano, Víctor Luengo y Jonny Rogers.
El calendario benéfico se ha editado en versión “de pared”, que se venderá a 6 euros y en versión “de mesa”, a 4 euros, en la sede de AFAV y estará disponible en todos los actos programados en la campaña Un Post-it por el Alzheimer 2015.
