Tras el 2º puesto logrado el año pasado, las fallas 2015 le han traido la oportunidad a Almirante Cadarso-Conde Altea de ver indultado su ninot mayor. Los visitantes de la Exposición del Ninot así lo han decidido con sus votos y por ello esta composición se salvará de las llamas el próximo 19 de marzo.
Este galardón supone el acercamiento de la comisión de Gran Vía a las primeros puestos de la clasificación histórica de ninots indultados. Con esta ya son 4 los ninots mayores indultados de esta comisión. 4 infantiles y 4 mayores ponen con 8 a Almirante Cadarso entre las comisiones con más indultos.
La fiugra «La cocina de la abuela» representa la entrañable escena de la abuela que se encuentra entre fogones mientras el nieto curioso intenta comprender lo que hace su abuela. Entre fogones de butano, adornada con un plato cerámico, con los embutidos secándose se plantea una escena llena de recuerdos de esa cocina de la abuela que a todos gusta. Mientras dos simpáticos ratones contemplan la escena mientras comen. Una entrañable escena que ha convencido al público valenciano.
