Las Provincias Si el alcalde de Valencia, Joan Ribó, decidió nada más ponerse al frente del gobierno municipal poner al servicio de los ciudadanos y visitantes el balcón del Ayuntamiento, ahora el concejal de Fiestas, Pere Fuset, quiere hacer otro gesto de cambio y anuncia que abrirá el calendario de disparos de las mascletaes de Fallas para que sean los pirotécnicos los que propongan cómo organizarlo.
Esta iniciativa se comunicó ayer a representantes de 23 empresas valencianas del sector de la pólvora que fueron convocados ayer en el Ayuntamiento para recoger las inquietudes de estos empresarios, sobre todo por los bajos precios que se vienen pagando por los disparos que no cubren los costes.
Una de las propuestas que más sorprendió a los pirotécnicos es la de remitirles un cuestionario. Pere Fuset, sociólogo de carrera, ha apostado por usar la fórmula de las encuestas para analizar la situación y valorar las opiniones.
Entre las preguntas que se incluirán está precisamente la de cómo organizar el calendario de disparos. Hasta ahora era tradicional que cada pirotécnico tuviera asignada una fecha -que podía variar por algún impedimento o compromiso-. Y así, todo el mundo sabía, por ejemplo, que el día de la Mujer era de Reyes Martí, que el primer domingo fallero era de Gori -antes de retirarse- o que las pirotecnias que no son valencianas suelen tener protagonismo en los primeros días de marzo.
Sorteo o reparto
Ahora, según indicó el concejal de Fiestas, Pere Fuset, se les preguntará «si quieren disparar el mismo día, si prefieren que se decida por sorteo o en definitiva cómo les gustaría que se organizase».
Faltará ver si llegan varias propuestas para los días más codiciados o si alguien manifiesta su voluntad de no tener fecha cerca de algún compañero. En todo caso, nada más comenzar la reunión, Fuset explicó a los presentes que «comienza un tiempo nuevo. No vamos a ser esclavos de la expresión ‘es que esto se ha hecho así toda la vida’. Lo que pretendemos saber es qué hay que hacer para mejorar las cosas».
Hubo casi pleno de pirotecnias valencianas, como Europlá; Valenciana; Caballer FX; Tomás; Reyes Martí; Zarzoso; Borredá o Alicantina y hasta el maestro Gori, que consiguió emocionar a Fuset. Estuvo la asociación Piroval y los únicos ausentes fueron Vicente Caballer y Ricasa (Ricardo Caballer) porque están trabajando en los festejos de pueblos de Madrid. A la pregunta de si estos dos últimos maestros volverán a la plaza del Ayuntamiento, Fuset asegura que quiere hablar con ellos y pedirlo personalmente.
En el encuentro se les aseguró que se mantenían los 19 días del calendario de Fallas, aunque no se concretó de la cantidad económica por disparo. Hasta ahora es de 4.000 euros, cuando algunas mascletaes cuestan entre 10.000 y 15.000 euros, pero Fuset pidió este año comprensión y que se iría trabajando en el aumento del precio de forma progresiva. Añadió que quiere tener en cuenta a las pirotécnicas «en un momento en el que estamos trabajando por la candidatura de las Fallas como Patrimonio de la Humanidad». Añadió que también pretende promocionar las mascletaes de barrio.
También explicó que se va a hablar con la patrocinadora de las mascletaes, una empresa de helados, para que aumente la aportación -que ronda entre 60.000 y 70.000 euros- y se buscarán sumar más firmas. Harán lo mismo con la cervecera que sufraga los castillos.
Fuset comunicó su intención de sentar en una mesa a hosteleros y comerciantes para que también respalden la fiesta. Y otra idea que aportó es la de incorporar otros espectáculos tradicionales como engraellat, correfocs o piromusicales e incluso dijo que se estudiará si en los castillos se puede incluir un puente (el de la Peineta o las Flores) para lanzar material en altura y no sólo desde la zona baja del jardín del Turia.
Los pirotécnicos aplaudieron que Fuset haya exigido en Madrid que TVE emita en directo las mascletaes, aunque todavía no hay respuesta.
