La Confederación Empresarial Valenciana (CEV) celebró el martes 12 de enero la primera reunión del Grupo de Trabajo de Fallas que fue constituido el pasado mes de diciembre y el que se integran representantes de sectores empresariales implicados como son hostelería, hoteles, comercio, supermercados, grandes superficies, transporte, taxis y distribución de bebidas, entre otros. Desde la Federación de Ocio, Turismo, Juego, Actividades Recreativas e Industrias Afines de la Comunidad Valenciana (FOTUR) asistieron Víctor Pérez, Presidente, acompañado de Juanjo Carbonell, Secretario General.
Tal y como ha manifestó el presidente de la CEV, Salvador Navarro, que presidió la reunión, el grupo de trabajo se constituye con un planteamiento positivo para que Las Fallas, con gran valor social y turístico para la ciudad de Valencia, no supongan un obstáculo para el desarrollo de la actividad empresarial ordinaria también durante los días festivos. En este sentido, el Grupo de Fallas abordará cuestiones como el comercio ilegal, la ocupación de la vía pública, la seguridad alimentaria y los accesos de transporte de mercancías al centro de la ciudad, y lo hará en coordinación con los falleros y con las autoridades competentes. El Grupo de Fallas considera que solventar estas disfunciones beneficiarán a la fiesta fallera en un año en que podría ser declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la UNESCO.
En la primera reunión de hoy se ha acordado solicitar al Ayuntamiento de Valencia un único interlocutor que coordine a todos los departamentos implicados en las Fallas: fiestas, actividades, mercados, tráfico, policía local, bomberos, etc., con el objetivo de abordar de forma coordinada todos los asuntos que afectan a los diferentes sectores y en los que están involucradas distintas áreas del Gobierno local.
Asimismo, la CEV solicitará participar conjuntamente con el Ayuntamiento de Valencia en el borrador del Bando de Fallas 2016 a fin de que sean tenidas en cuenta las propuestas de mejora de los sectores empresariales afectados.
