No hi ha dubte que l’arròs a banda és un plat molt important en la nostra gastronomia. Aquesta excel·lència culinària va ser creada pels mariners en les seues barques. Hi ha diferents versions sobre la seua denominació, però la que pren més força és precisament la manera de preparar-lo, de fet, el seu nom descriu molt bé que l’arròs es posa a banda del caldo i del peix. La nostra cuina és rica en sabors i colors però l’arròs a banda mereix un lloc especial. Per tal motiu la Falla Baix la Mar prepara el I Concurs d’arròs a banda, reconeixent d’aquesta manera la importància del plat. El diumenge 6 de setembre al Col·legi Sant Vicent Ferrer de Les Rotes tots els participants iniciaran les tasques cuineres a partir de les 12 hores, sols caldrà que porten els utensilis perquè Baix la Mar posarà la resta. Sigueu fidels a la tradició i participeu, fent més gran si cap a la nostra gastronomia.
Una festa d’aquesta natura mereix un acompanyament especial, per tal motiu els més menuts podran gaudir en l’unflable aquàtic durant tot el dia.
Va ser a l’exercici 2011/2012 quan la Falla Baix la Mar va organitzar per primera vegada la Gran Cagada. Des d’aquell moment fins ara aquest concurs ha format part de la nostra vida fallera. Com sempre hi ha un protagonista d’excepció, el cavall Thor, amb garra i molta fúria, que fa les delícies de grans i menuts. El diumenge 6 de setembre, a partir de les 19 hores, al Col·legi Sant Vicent Ferrer, tots estarem atents a l’actuació del cavall més mariner. No tens encara les paperetes per a participar? Què esperes? Recorda que hi ha premis importants i a més a més podràs passar una bona estona.
Una festa per a tots els públics que estarà plena de música, la de la xaranga. No falteu!
