Se cumplen justo ahora 40 días desde que la Falla Plaza de Honduras pusiera en marcha una innovadora y pionera Campaña Internacional de ‘Crowdfunding‘ –entendida como una ‘replegà virtual’ o ‘replegà 2.0’- para financiar su Falla Infantil mediante MicroMecenas. Se trataba de la primera experiencia de este tipo en lo que la construcción de una falla se refiere.
“No ha sido nada fácil, pues por pequeñas que sean las aportaciones, en los tiempos que vivimos cada euro cuenta. Por eso estamos infinitamente agradecidos a todos y cada uno de nuestros Mecenas” comenta el Presidente Javier Palacios, resumiendo así el sentir de su Comisión Fallera.
A esas palabras de agradecimiento se suma Vicente Sanfeliu, Gerente y Director de Arte de Socarrat Studio, que afronta el reto de diseñar sus primeras Fallas este año y que además ha contribuido a esta iniciativa con la imagen principal de la Campaña y una ilustración. Quien comenta “vamos a diseñar un Homenaje a la Creatividad; ahora que contamos con la financiación del proyecto, nos ponemos manos a la obra… o mejor dicho mano al lápiz”
El Artista Fallero, José Luís Platero reitera “mi agradecimiento tanto a la Comisión Fallera por esforzarse para conseguir dinero para el monumento fallero como, por supuesto, a todos los Mecenas que han colaborado”, y añade que “me hace mucha ilusión saber que la Falla que plantemos llegará a sitios tan lejanos como Rusia, Indonesia o Qatar”.
Palacios añade que “aparte de la inyección económica que suponen estos 4.990 euros y que se invertirán íntegramente en el monumento fallero y en las recompensas para los Mecenas. Estamos deseando que llegue el 15 de marzo para recibir como se merecen a estos Mecenas, que vean la Falla que plantaremos con sus aportaciones y disfruten de estas Fiestas con nosotros”. La Falla espera ilusionada recibir la visita de más de 100 Mecenas, algunos de los cuales vivirán la ‘Comida del Mecenas’ ese mismo 15 de marzo, una ‘Despertà’ con Banda de Música y Almuerzo Fallero el 19 de marzo o una especial Cena de la ‘Cremà’ el propio 19.
La Campaña además de estar difundida por gran multitud de medios de comunicación y blogs falleros, se ha promocionado a través de las redes sociales de los propios falleros y el boca a boca- pues no todos los Mecenas son usuarios de Internet.
“Una de las dificultades más importantes ha sido que aún queda mucho tiempo para las Fallas 2014; estamos seguros que una Campaña similar más cerca de marzo habría funcionado mejor, pero es ahora cuando teníamos que cerrar el presupuesto con los diseñadores y el artista fallero”, comenta Javier, quien además adelanta que ”tras unas merecidas vacaciones vamos a explorar otras vías de financiación y a trabajar para preparar un Programa de Festejos con el que contentar a falleros, vecinos y –ahora también- Mecenas”.
