La Federación de Folclore de la Comunidad Valenciana ha mostrado su satisfacción tras la aprobacion del Ministerio de Educación, a petición de la Generalitat Valenciana, de introducir El Cant d´Estil en las enseñanzas profesionales de música pero advierte del posible encorsetamiento al considerar la escasa respuesta a la dolçaina y reivindica el papel de las asociaciones culturales sin ánimo de lucro en ese ejercicio de mantenimiento y defensa de las tradiciones valencianas.
El presidente de la federación, Manuel Camarasa, explicó que «esta decisión supone un reconocimiento a una parte de la cultura tradicional valenciana y también a nuestras señas de identidad, dándole carácter diferenciado». Se pregunta Camarasa ¨cuántos ‘cantaors’ surgirán con esta medida» y afirma que hoy, como ayer, la autenticidad y diferenciación de la danza en cada una de las regiones se conserva gracias a las asociaciones culturales (grupos de danza) sin ánimo de lucro de cada pueblo y provincia.
Sobre la dolçaina, reconocida ya oficialmente y contemplada su inclusión en los conservatorios desde hace años, solo se imparte en cuatro centros oficiales en Valencia, dos en Alicante y ninguno en Castellón, mientras el colectivo de dolçainers supera los 5.000 músicos, con lo que dicho reconocimiento oficial ha servido para muy poco.
Con el Cant d’Estil podría pasar algo peor, porque el colectivo no llega al centenar con estilos y formas diferenciadas en cada pueblo y región; un colectiva al que hay que respetar y proteger y no ‘encorsetar’ ni globalizar, ya que de lo contrario será el principio del fin de nuestro querido cant d’Estil en su estilo más puro.
La federación pide explicaciones sobre qué tipo de titulación será necesaria para impartir las clases de Cant d´Estill y que dotación presupuestaria habrá teniendo en cuenta que para las clases de dolçaina se precisa grado medio en las escuelas y grado superior en los conservatorios,
¨Espero que la Generalitat potencie en los conservatorios y en los centros de enseñanza primaria el arte tradicional valenciano conservándolo en su estado más puro para mantener su riqueza desde la propia variedad de cada pueblo y comarca, por ser un patrimonio cultural inmaterial de los valencianos. El cant valencià, integrado entre el cant d’estil y les albaes es, junto con el flamenco de Andalucía, la jota aragonesa y la asturianada en Asturias, una de las más importantes expresiones de tradición oral de España.
