El pasado lunes 6 de abril la ciudad de Murcia daba la bienvenida a la Fiesta de la Primavera, una intensa jornada para su reina, María López, quien tras la lectura del pregón en el consistorio y la comida oficial en el Rincón huertano, visitó El Corte Inglés de la localidad y participó en la emotiva ofrenda floral a la Virgen de la Fuensanta.
En esta jornada de actos tan intensa no faltó la muestra de hermandad entre fiestas con la presencia de la Fallera Mayor de Valencia, Estefanía López, así como la Bellea del Foc, Patricia Gadea.
La cita para Estefanía López comenzaba en el Ayuntamiento murciano donde tras la recepción oficial se dio lectura un año más al pregón de la Fiesta de la Primavera. Con la presencia del alcalde de Murcia, José María Haro, así como el presidente de la Federación de Peñas Huertanas, Antonio Avilés, y el Presidente de la Junta Central Fallera, Francisco Lledó, se dio el pistoletazo de salida a la fiesta murciana.
Al finalizar este emblemático acto se dirigieron al Rincón huertano donde se celebró como es habitual la comida de hermandad que finalizó con el intercambio de obsequios como recuerdo de la cita.
Ya por la tarde acudieron a El Corte Inglés donde su director, Vicente Valcárcel, ejerció de anfitrión. Allí visitaron el emplazamiento dedicado a la fiesta huertana donde se celebró el intercambio de recuerdos así como la actuación de la tuna de Medicina que aportó la nota musical.
La última gran cita del día para la Fiesta de la Primavera fue la emotiva ofrenda floral a la Virgen de la Fuensanta en la que los festeros mostraron la devoción a su patrona. Las céntricas calles de la ciudad se llenaron de color para brindar el mejor de los homenajes a la patrona en quien se amparan por el buen devenir de las fiestas y del desarrollo de Murcia.
