La Agrupación de Fallas Benicalap-Campanar ha celebrado su 40 aniversario con una emotiva procesión en honor a la de la imagen peregrina de la Virgen de los Desamparados este fin de semana.
La agrupación de fallas de estos dos barrios de Valencia han organizado actos, tanto sábado, como domingo, para celebrar, junto a la cofradía de la Virgen de los Desamparados de la parroquia de Santa Rosa de Lima que también cumple 50 años, décadas de devoción a la Mare de Déu.
El sábado por la tarde, las Falleras Mayores de Valencia, Estefanía y María, acompañadas de sus Cortes de Honor quisieron estar junto a los vecinos y falleros para vivir un momento muy especial para ambos barrios y participar en el traslado de la Virgen de los Desamparados. Tras una dançà en honor a la Virgen y una ofrenda de alimentos donados por los participantes a Caritas, la imagen ha sido trasladada a la sede de la agrupación, para, después, regresar a su parroquia.
