Happy y Golfo, dos perros de raza mestiza que, hasta hace poco, estaban condenados a un trágico final, fueron ayer los protagonistas de un gesto solidario por parte de la Junta Local Fallera de Benicarló. La entidad ha donado 300 kilos de pienso a Soscan, la protectora de animales que, desde hace años, ha salvado a numerosos perros y gatos y les busca hogares para que crezcan rodeados del afecto que les negaron aquellos que les abandonaron a su suerte.
La Junta Local Fallera es consciente de este esfuerzo ejercido por voluntarios. Así, en un sencillo acto, Gemma Sánchez y Ana Sabina, en representación de Soscan, acompañadas de Happy y Golfo, recogieron el lote de alimento de mano de las dos falleras mayores, Rosa Rillo y Noa Pegueroles. “Cada aportación es motivo de alegría, pero esta vez se ha creado un precedente, ayudándonos a dar a conocer la labor que hacemos todos los días”, comentó una de las voluntarias.
