El Palmar celebra la romería del Cristo de la Salud con su tradicional romería en barca por l’Albufera
El pasado jueves 4 de agosto se celebró la romería del Cristo de la Salud, patrón de El Palmar, y que se celebra desde 1974. A las 18:30h, desde la parroquia del Niño Jesús del Huerto de El Palmar, salió la imagen del Cristo y, acompañada por la Marcha Real, se dirigió al embarcadero.
Desde allí, ya en barca, el Cristo acompañado por las demás embarcaciones, se dirigió al centro de l’Albufera, donde el Cardenal Arzobispo de Valencia, Antonio Cañizares, presidió el acto religioso. Al terminar, y antes de que el Cristo volviera a su altar, se disparó una mascletà.
Sofía Soler y Alicia Moreno, Falleras Mayores de Valencia, acompañadas por sus Cortes de Honor, participaron también en esta tradicional romería.
Tampoco faltaron devotos de la pedanía y de las poblaciones ribereñas de El Saler, Pinedo, Catarroja, Silla, Sollana y el Perellonet; así como el Presidente de Les Corts, Enric Morera, y algunos concejales y representantes de los distintos grupos políticos valencianos.
Hoy viernes, a las 20:30h, se celebrará, en la parroquia, una ofrenda de flores y frutos al Cristo de la Salud y, el sábado, el templo parroquial acogerá la celebración de una misa solemne a las doce del mediodía, y una procesión a las nueve de la noche en honor al Cristo.
