En la jornada de ayer, miércoles 8 de octubre, los niños y niñas del CEIP Vicente Tena, celebraron el “Día de los Valencianos” practicando juegos de calle, aquellos que los mayores jugaban con sus amigos.
La AMPA del Vicente Tena participó de lleno en la celebración del 9 d`octubre ya que preparó un almuerzo saludable y mediterráneo con horchata, “fartons” caseros. Después invitaron a los mayores del Centro de Día a otro almuerzo similar.
El colegio Vicente Tena es un ejemplo de convivencia multicultural
Unas actividades que tienen como objetivo, el hacer el día de mañana que los alumnos sean personas tolerantes acostumbrados a convivir con gente que no piensa igual que ellos y por tanto, prepararlos para el mundo globalizado que les tocará vivir. Desde el colegio, se animó a que todos los valencianos disfruten de este día tan maravilloso.
Por todos es sabido, que los niños de hoy pasan más tiempo delante de un ordenador o realizando actividades guiadas por los adultos, que jugando con otros niños, descubriendo poco a poco las maneras de superarse y aprendiendo a relacionarse a la vez que solucionando los problemas que pueden surgir.
Como es habitual en este centro educativo, son los alumnos de quinto y sexto de primaria los que dirigen los juegos de los más pequeños, haciendo el papel de maestros.
El colegio Vicente Tena tiene una gran diversidad cultural ya que conviven un gran número de nacionalidades de las 28 que residen en Xàbia. Esta multiculturalidad en las aulas se valora como positiva, ya que los alumnos aprenden diferentes maneras de vivir, pero directamente, de sus propios compañeros y amigos.
Durante el curso organizan encuentros con familias, comen comidas típicas de diferentes partes del mundo y descubren juegos, canciones y fiestas.
